Creating Order- Day 19 of a 20 day challenge

Creating Order PSD copyI have given myself the challenge of trying to create more order in my life. There are areas where I manage well and others where I fail dismally and cause me stress. I would love nothing more, than to have routines and habits that enable life to just flow better. I am hoping that by posting everyday the various areas that need I feel improvement, that it will keep me accountable and I will achieve my to do list for once in my life.

I have decided to merge Wednesday and Thursday’s posts as that was my focus for the two days. To such an extent I’m posting this late!

So this weeks Biggie is The Home Office:
I desire to create a home office, that is organised and ordered. One where your thoughts can flow round the room instead of bouncing from clutter to clutter.
I spent many hours on that nemesis called Pintrest (thanks M for introducing it to me!!!) and looking at various options. I found some that I really liked, so used them as a springboard for my ideas. (Isn’t that what Pintrest is all about?)

I hope so- but if you have some time to waste- have a look at my board on Pintrest!

Hubby is a sailor, so I’m hoping to create it as a nautical theme. Easier said than done as the nautical theme isn’t one that the Japanese do!

I have a design idea, purchased some of the items I need, so time to get creating. I hope he likes it- I’m surprising him with an organised office…

Thursday:
Here’s what the office looked like at the start of the day yesterday:

Here’s how it looked at the end of the day:

By the end of Thursday it looked like this:

I truly hope hubby likes it.
Getting my paperwork organised was the main reason for starting this challenge. I have achieved some, but not nearly as much as I would like. I have a beautiful, organised home office, but my paperwork just moved rooms..

About Cheryl

I am a child of God, a wife and a mother of 4 children. Some days are good. Some days are frustrating. Some days are just plain insane. In between the mayhem, I loved to go for walks with our mutt, potter in the garden and enjoy the beauty that surrounded us. That all changed in August 2012 when we waved goodbye to our mutt and garden, our eldest at Uni in Gloucester and moved to Tokyo for 4 months. And yes- we are still here...
