There is something magical about the winter months that just want me to stay indoors and get crafty with or without my children. Doing the activities for advent iss a wonderful excuse (as if I needed one) for getting crafty with my children.
Making snowflakes is one of my favourite winter craft activities as they are so easy to do.
Once made they can be hung up in a doorway, or stuck onto a window like we’ve done.
Materials:
White paper
Pencil
Scissors
Circles to trace round
To Make:
Trace round a circle and cut it out.
Fold the circle in half.
Fold it into thirds. (It should look like a pie slice)
Cut patterns into the ‘pie’
Open up.
Biblical Teaching Moment:
Each snowflake is unique. No two snowflakes are the same. So are you- no one is like you. God made you unique.
